Iowa Hotel & Lodging Association and WoodRiver Energy Launch Sustainability Award, Seek Nominations
Monday, July 31, 2023 - Des Moines, IA - The Iowa Hotel & Lodging Association is seeking nominations for its first-ever Sustainability Award (Presented by WoodRiver Energy). This award will recognize an Iowa hotel or lodging establishment committed to excellence and leadership in the protection of the environment and the implementation of sustainable practices. Nominated properties must provide examples of how they’re reducing, reusing, and recycling for long-term sustainability and the environment. Self-nominations will be accepted.
The winner will be chosen based on the impact of their sustainable practices, creativity, and innovation and the level of difficulty required to implement and maintain these solutions. They will be honored at the IHLA’s inaugural awards program Monday, October 2, 2023, in West Des Moines.
